The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has just reported to the Ministry of Construction on the progress of resolving legal procedure issues for 64 real estate projects in the city.
Metro Star, one of the 5 projects in Ho Chi Minh City, has been completely resolved legally.
Specifically, from the end of 2023 until now, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has held numerous meetings with the Prime Minister’s Task Force to review and guide the resolution of legal procedure difficulties for 64 real estate projects that this agency has referred.
According to the operating regulations, the Task Force of Ho Chi Minh City on resolving difficulties and obstacles for investment projects in the city (Ho Chi Minh City Task Force), the Department of Planning and Investment is assigned the task of summarizing and proposing quarterly solutions for issues within the authority of the Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
In recent times, the Ho Chi Minh City Task Force has continued to review investment projects that have been delayed due to arising difficulties in compliance with legal regulations to find solutions and avoid wasting land resources. Since its establishment in May 2023 until now, the Ho Chi Minh City Task Force has held 9 meetings and issued 15 concluding announcements, considering the resolution of 30 real estate projects.
To date, 5 projects have been completely resolved, and 25 projects are being advised for resolution by relevant departments and agencies. The 5 resolved projects include: The Metropole Thu Thiem project by Quoc Loc Phat Joint Stock Company; social housing projects by VTHouse Joint Stock Company and Tâm Giao Joint Stock Company; a project by Suntory Pepsico Vietnam Beverage Co., Ltd.; the Metro Star residential and commercial complex by Metro Star Investment Joint Stock Company; and Celadon City by Gamuda Land Joint Stock Company.
